The highly anticipated third installment of the Manual of Love series is here, with an all-star cast including Robert De Niro, one of the greatest actors of his time, together with the alluring Monica Bellucci.
Director Giovanni Veronesi has created three stories to illustrate 'the three ages of man' – Youth, Maturity and Beyond - all connected by a taxidriving cupid (Emanuele Propizio). There's Roberto (Riccardo Scamarcio) the city lawyer who is ready to marry Sara (Valeria Solarino) until he meets the country girl Micol (Laura Chiatti). Then there's Fabio (Carlo Verdone), a married newsreader who gets seduced by a crazy stalker, Eliana (Donatella Finocchiaro). Finally there's Adrian (De Niro, speaking Italian), who reconnects with his youth thanks to his doorman's ebullient daughter, Viola (Bellucci).
Fans of popular Italian cinema will love this funny, if occasionally politically incorrect, romantic comedy. The first two Manual of Love films were runaway hits in Italy, and with the addition of Robert De Niro (in an already famous strip-tease scene no less) this is sure to be the hottest ticket in the festival!
