Paolo Genovese's latest box-office hit The Immature is a breezy, feel-good comedy about a group of friends getting back together after twenty years.

Giorgio, Lorenzo, Piero, Luisa, Virgilio and Francesca were classmates and friends twenty years ago. Over the years, the inevitable has happened; the group has broken up and gone their separate ways in life. But now, the Ministry of Education has audited the results and discovered some irregularities, thereby invalidating their high school graduation! They will have to re-sit the examination (called "maturity exams" in Italian) all over again. So the gang hit the books, it's just like old times – only with more wrinkles and less hair! Really, these 40 year olds haven't grown up much at all. To pass their exams, first they will need to make amends with each other and deal with emotions they never really overcame.

Writer-director Paolo Genovese has created a lively ensemble comedy with a who's who of Italian stars including Ambra Angiolini (The First Beautiful Thing), Raoul Bova (La nostra vita), Anita Caprioli (Corpo Celeste) and Slovakian-born Barbora Bobulova (A Family on the Verge, Manual of Love 2).
